My Travel Wishlist 2020: Top 5 Countries.

Bali holiday destination

This is a list that I curated beginning of the year not knowing the year was going to start on a such a note.

Anyways, there are many places in this world that I want to see and experience. One of my 2020 goals was to travel to two countries before the second quarter of the year. Due to the current situation, it isn’t looking achievable at the moment, but I’m letting my adventure spirit run wild by doing it virtually.

Therefore, I thought it would be an amazing idea to drop the list here so I can always revisit it to tick them off. So, my travel wishlist for 2020 are:

Bali holiday destination

Despite it being the most expensive tourist destination.Bali is a beautiful place to experience and I realised I can still get good deals in regards to accommodation, which is appropriate for my pocket. The culture, history and beaches will definitely count as major highlights. Also, I read a lot about the yoga retreat which is on my to-do list.

I believe this is on everyone’s list. Few years ago as a novice when I hear Maldives, it seemed like an unreachable place, until I knew people indirectly who travelled there. The over-the-water bungalows is the most attractive sight in Maldives (if I do say so myself). There are also lots of water activities to do. For instance, someone like me who dislikes water (I’m not a good swimmer) it will be a new adventure to look forward to.

Mauritius is one of the island countries in Africa that I planned to visit this year. I fell in love with Mauritius after I stumbled on certain pictures. It’s definitely a lovely island to explore and I know there are lots of fun activities to indulge in. Can’t wait!

Exploring Asia is on my ultimate travel list! But not to make this post wild, I had to pick Thailand first. Heard a lot about these places and I had a course mate from Thailand who was always ready to ‘brag’ about her beautiful country when asked. With a good budget, you can comfortably explore Phuket and Bangkok, and the Thai food is pretty good (I’ve had a fair share). Hence, why I have to go and explore, to eat more.

Again, Seychelles is the first place I planned to visit this year. I carried out my assignment, and was already planning my finances for a few days’ getaway but, rona was laughing somewhere. In essence, I will still visit when the time is right and return for a more elaborate review.

  1. Great content you have. I really wanted to travel to at least 3 countries this year but with the pandemic happening I guess my travel dreams has been laid to rest. My next dream destinations would be Greece, Paris and Bali (although Bali is really far) which got me thinking. I hope we all get to go after all these is over.

    StaySafe pretty.
